How to remove yourself from Threads

Threads is tied to your Instagram account, but you can now delete Threads on its own.

1. Open Threads → Settings → Account → Deactivate or delete profile.
2. Choose “Delete profile” to remove Threads without touching Instagram.
3. Deactivating only hides it — choose delete for permanent removal.
