How to remove your Typing.com account
Go to your preferences page (which the direct removal link goes to) and click “delete account >>” When the confirmation comes up, hit yes.
You may also hit the “click here to update your preferences” button at the end of every email they send you and click “Delete Account” to delete the account.

The above is for the old typingweb.com system, they have recently overhauled their service and have become typing.com now.
It does not appear you can directly remove or cancel your account. They now simply state:
How do I cancel my account?
Simply stop using it and after a few months of inactivity your account will be cleared out.
