How to remove yourself from Coinbase

Coinbase must keep identity-verification (KYC) records under financial regulations even after account closure.

1. Withdraw all crypto and fiat balances.
2. Settings → Account → Close account.
3. KYC documents and transaction history are retained for regulatory periods — this is not negotiable.
4. Submit a privacy request to stop marketing use of your data.
