How to remove yourself from Signal

Signal deliberately stores almost nothing about you — there is little to remove beyond your registration.

1. In the app: Settings → Account → Delete account. This removes your registration and profile from Signal’s servers.
2. Messages live on your device and your contacts’ devices — delete conversations locally as well.
3. Your number becomes unregistered immediately.
